What size suits you?

First 14

First 14

The First 14 is a fast, robust sailing yacht. Beneteau yacht designers have focused on design and ergonomics, and this dinghy is an ideal introduction to sailing and the joy of surfing.

The First 14’s planing hull strives to achieve the best compromise between speed and stability. The dinghy’s double centreboard casing means that she can be sailed solo (centreboard further aft and cat rig) or two-up (centreboard further forward and with a set of three sails).

With a sail area varying between 8.5 and 21.5 m², the First 14 is highly adaptable and suited to all levels of ability. Designed for a wide range of crew sizes and weights, the cockpit has several seat heights; she is particularly comfortable on the longest sides. With a set of removable wheels, every detail on the First 14 aims to simplify sailing in every way.

First 18

First 18

As she whizzes across the waves, the First 18 is nothing but sheer sailing pleasure.

Whether cruising or racing, this small towable design has all you need for endless enjoyment on the water.

A large, progressively chined hull gives you a taste of what is to come.

The First 18 offers speed and sensations, whatever your programme.

Stable and lightweight, with a planing hull and high-performance rigging, the First 18 makes the most of the slightest puff of wind to reach speeds that will thrill.

The First 18 is certified for four people aboard, but she handles easily with a crew of two or solo, even under spinnaker.

And thanks to her lifting keel, you can beach wherever you want. Simply sensational.

First 24

First 24

The stylish Beneteau First 24 is both fast racer and fun cruiser … an unparalleled compromise in the category of high-performance, transportable, cruising yachts. Ideal for racing with a crew of four, it can accommodate six on a coastal cruise and eight on day trips.

The First 24, designed by Sam Manuard, is a high-performance thoroughbred with a boldly modern hard-chine hull.

The First 24 performs particularly well in light and medium air, progressing moderately and with ease at speeds of 15 knots.

Below deck, the vast open interior of the Beneteau First 24 has a large forward double berth and single berths on either side of the keel box.

And thanks to an ingenious cushion system, you can unite the two single berths to turn them into a double berth.

A small galley with hob and icebox, chemical toilet and an electric pack combined with solar panels make the yacht fully autonomous.

First 27

First 27

The First 27 is a powerful, small, towable sports fun cruiser packed with potential. A born leader, she is ideal for racing offshore where she eats up the miles. Yet she is also perfect for comfortable sailing adventures shared with friends.

The First 27 was designed for offshore racing by naval architect Sam Manuard. Featuring a hard chine as far as the stem, vertical sides, a good beam on the waterline and twin rudders, she has all the makings of a robust competitive boat. The cockpit is spacious and comfortable and has two-foot chocks over the full length. With a manually operated hydraulic jack to lift the keel, the First 27 is easy to tow.

The 27 is smart, with an interior that’s ideal for a few days cruising with a crew of four. The fore cabin has a large double berth while two berths sliding below the cockpit double the length of the saloon seats. The style of the interior is boldly contemporary, featuring many clever details that everyone will love: folding doors held by magnets, shelves that double up as bags to embark/disembark everyone’s personal effects, a large table on keel casing legs, and the companionway steps have a storage section with a bottom compartment the perfect size for a fridge.
