First Yacht 53 - Nominated for the European Yacht of the Year 2020

Beneteau’s First Yacht 53 is one nomination for European Yacht of the Year 2020 in the “Performance Cruiser” category!

The awards, now in their 17th year, are regarded as the ‘Oscars of Water Sports’ and are held every year on the flagship night of Boot Düsseldorf International Boat Show.

Successfully launched at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, the stunning performance cruiser was a delight seeing her grace the new Port Canto sailing area.

The First Yacht 53 is a high-end sailing yacht that simply combines luxury and performance, making her comfortable and easy to move around.

Following 42 years of the First range legacy, gracing the First Yacht 53 is an ultra-sleek minimalist design, high power operation, supreme on-board technology and spacious living areas featuring the best in quality materials.

Success is no secret to Beneteau. Their Oceanis 46.1 won the “Family Cruiser” category at the European Yacht of the Year awards at Düsseldorf Boot in 2019.

And we’re delighted that the Oceanis 30.1 is also in the nominations for the “Family Cruiser” category in 2020.

Beneteau has won a stack of awards across the entire Sail range, including Figaro 3, the world’s first production foiling keelboat, the versatile and recently reinvented First range and the NEW Oceanis 51.1.

The impressive Figaro 3 won the 2018 “Special Yacht” category.

The First Yacht 53 and the Oceanis 30.1 will be on display at the Boot Düsseldorf International Boat Show from 18-26 January 2020.

We eagerly anticipate the announcement of the winners which will be held at Boot Düsseldorf next year.
