We’re getting rave reviews from Flagstaff owners about the Beneteau Antares 30 Fly. The key feedback is that this family-friendly 30-footer is incredibly fuel efficient and reliable, offers enough space for overnighters with the kids and can handle blue water as well as harbour cruising.

Beneteau Pittwater Regatta 2018

The sun was shining on a record breaking 28 yachts competing in this years Beneteau Pittwater Regatta. It was incredible to see the diverse fleet of Beneteau’s out on the water – from the brand new Oceanis 41.1P right through to the First 235 – circa 1986.

All up 170 members of the Flagstaff community enjoyed a picture-perfect day of sailing, sunshine and good times with family and friends.

Travelling north – Ivor Burgess Still Dangerous

Ivor Burgess, quite simply put, is an inspiration to every sailor. He started sailing at 50 and now at 78 he and his crew are about to take Still Dangerous, his Beneteau Oceanis 45, on their seventh trip to the Whitsundays for both Hamilton Island and Airlie Beach Race Weeks.

Travelling north on Premier Cru – Keith Stronach

Keith Stronach will be taking Premier Cru, his Beneteau Oceanis 48, on her fourth trip north this year. He’ll start his journey in Port Stephens and arrive at Airlie Beach in time for Hamilton Island Race Week.

We talked to Keith about his experiences sailing Australia’s east coast and asked him to share his top tips for sailors gearing up for their first journey north.
