Seasoned boat owner and keen fisherman Damian Veneris switches to pleasure boating with the Lomac Turismo 660 and loves every minute.
Damian, owner of an engineering firm in Queensland, understands the value of good design and quality craftsmanship.
He is a seasoned skipper and fisherman who has owned and operated many boats, specifically for deep-sea fishing.
Damian’s wife was keen on a 6 metre RIB boat as a social family boat they could use at their vacation spot in Noosa, Queensland, and was initially looking at another brand.
“Their approach was a little arrogant for me, and they never returned my call.”
While doing some online research, Damian came across Flagstaff Marine and the Lomac Turismo 660 cruiser. He was impressed with the specs of the boat and its Italian heritage.

Damian bought the boat just before Christmas 2021, before heading to Noosa from his hometown of Brisbane.
Unfortunately, like many other affected industries, COVID significantly delayed the boat’s delivery.
“Alex was phenomenal. Understanding that we had family staying over the festive season, he offered for us to use a demo boat for a month. I was so impressed.”
The boat was ready for collection in about February/March 2022.
“I was in Sydney to confirm the boat speaker placements and some of the electronics, which was at the same time as the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show that the owners of Lomac were attending.
Alex arranged for me to meet them and to take my boat back up to Brisbane, but I had the trailer with me, so I towed it back to Brisbane myself.”
Damian has been overwhelmed by the exceptional service from Flagstaff Marine and will always look to them for his future boat investments. He keeps in regular contact with Alex.

Damian and his wife keep their Lomac Turismo 660 at home in Brisbane and take her to Noosa for their annual holiday, leaving her moored on the Noosa River to enjoy social cruising with friends and family.
