Emir and Xin are legends! After months of planning their dream of sailing around the world has finally becoming a reality. Today they are sitting on Hugo, their beautiful Oceanis 41.1P in Port Ginesta, Barcelona, a little over a month into the adventure of a lifetime.
Ivor Burgess started sailing at 50 and now at 78 he is about to take Still Dangerous, his Beneteau Oceanis 45, on their seventh trip to the Whitsundays for both Hamilton Island and Airlie Beach Race Weeks.
Keith Stronach will be taking Premier Cru, his Beneteau Oceanis 48, on her fourth trip north this year. He’ll start his journey in Port Stephens and arrive at Airlie Beach in time for Hamilton Island Race Week.
Charlie Haynes knows the Beneteau brand well. He has raced on Beneteaus in the past and completed the Sydney to Hobart. This time, he chose a Beneteau power cruiser.
