Built for new horizons

The newest addition to the Beneteau Trawler range, the Swift Trawler 48 supersedes the Swift Trawler 47, enhancing an already exceptional vessel. With robust performance and spacious, airy interiors by Andreani Design, it’s the ideal boat to explore new horizons with family and friends.

Measuring 14.74 metres long overall with a beam of 4.50 metres, this is a stellar addition to Beneteau’s successful Trawler range, notable for their seaworthiness, incredible living spaces and supreme comfort.

THE GRAND TRAWLER LOOK

The Swift Trawler 48 has a sleek and striking profile, with the new stainless framed teak slat fashion plates as seen on the Grand Trawler 62 flagship. Notably, it features a new rear gallery with extra saloon seating in addition to the spacious, comfortable and elegant, teak-finished interiors.

Exceptional cruising performance

The Swift Trawler 48 hull is designed for performance. The slender flared bow seamlessly slices through the water providing safe handling, and the semi-planing hull helps deliver first-class fuel efficiency across the speed range.

The Swift Trawler 48 is rated for 12 persons in CE Category B. With 1930 litres of fuel onboard you can expect a range of +600nm at 9 knots displacement speed or 280nm at 18 knots efficient planing speed whilst retaining a fuel reserve of 10%.

AUTONOMY AND SPEED WHEN YOU NEED IT

With onboard storage for 640 litres of fresh water, this gives you incredible autonomy on the water.

The standard pair of Cummins 380hp engines allows for a top speed of 21 knots with an upgrade to 425hp engines providing a top speed of 25 knots, and plenty of reserve power.

The Swift Trawler 48 is designed with the ocean experience in mind, with comfortable, elegant and flexible design features that optimise your open living experience.

The generous 20 sqm flybridge provides the perfect spot to soak up the panorama. The transform backrests either side of the pilot seat provide plentiful forward facing seating and the transverse vis-à-vis seating and table area offer a great spot to eat and relax. This can be further complemented with an optional flybridge T-top with inset sliding soft-top.

MULTIPLE LOUNGING AREAS

Additionally, the forward sun bed splits in the middle enabling a forward seating area ideal for sundowners.

Aft there is a transverse wetbar and the aft flybridge space is perfect for sun loungers or paddleboards. The aft cockpit can fit a folding table and two directors chairs which with the full bench seat maximises the indoor/outdoor living space.

The asymmetrical deck layout ensures you have a wide and well-protected starboard sidedeck with high bulwarks for safe and easy access and docking. The swim platform with handrails provides a seamless connection with the sea, and the optional hydraulic lifting system can carry a 350 kg dinghy.

Immense space; premium safety

The spacious interiors are extremely liveable, with features including a large L-shaped galley on portside aft with a full-height 255-litre fridge freezer, a Corian worktop with gas or induction cooktop and large sink, and forward of the galley, a large U-shaped dinette providing seating for eight – and exceptional views.

The helm station features two 12” Raymarine MFD screens and the Beneteau Ship Control system in addition to an aft docking camera, stern docking lights and the optional Cummins integrated joystick system for a stress-free docking experience.

SHEER LUXURY

The Swift Trawler 48 can easily sleep up to eight with three cabins in the lower accommodation and the saloon dinette easily converts into a double bed with wraparound privacy curtains in standard.

The forward owner’s cabin features a double berth, large hull windows with inset portlights and an en-suite bathroom. The port guest cabin has a large hull window with inset portlight, stowage, wardrobe and two single berths with an infill to make up a double berth. And the starboard guest cabin has two portlights, a transverse double berth and a double door wardrobe that is large enough to take an optional washer/dryer in the base.
