The Swift Trawler 30 is very cleverly designed so it feels like a much larger boat.
The Beneteau design team have come up with ingenious ways to fit extra practical features into 30ft and make it feel incredibly spacious.
The transom opens to extend the cockpit space connecting it with the swim platform, creating real terrace over the sea.
Down below choose one or two cabins with bathroom and separate shower.
Feel the breeze and take in the panoramic views from the full helm on the flybridge.
At anchor the flybridge transforms into a spacious elevated entertaining terrace with wraparound seating. This flexible living space is perfect for cocktails and canapés.
At the lower helm, you can choose to stand or sit at the adjustable double seat. Access via a sliding side door makes this boat easy to dock for an owner driving singlehanded.
The Swift 30 is a truly comfortable live aboard motor yacht. Don’t let the size fool you … it feels much bigger.
Enter the sliding doors into the saloon and with 6’6″ headroom there’s wonderful a feeling of space. A clever feature to create even more space in the saloon is the sliding table which fits neatly below the bench seat to create a large reception area.
The seating areas are versatile with extra fold-away seats which slide under bench seat in the main saloon. If dinner guests decide to stay, it’s an easy transformation from sofa to double bed.
The galley has everything you need: a double basin sink with counter space and dual gas hob, plus a microwave and fridge. A second fridge gives you space for extra drinks and there’s plenty of storage for essentials in the soft close drawers. The entertainment area has inbuilt Fusion and Bose systems and space for an optional TV.
Head down the centre companionway to the owners’ stateroom where there is a large king-size bed with space to move around and easy access to large storage spaces. The hull side windows with opening port lights and overhead hatch allow plenty of air and natural light.
If you choose the two bedroom layout, the second cabin has bunk beds. And if you have extra overnight guests, there’s is always the option of the convertible sofa bed in the saloon.

John Curnow from Powerboatworld.com test drives the Swift Trawler 30 on Sydney Harbour. Here’s what he thought of driving from the flybridge …
“Helming from up here is a delight and also very comfortable. You do get a real sense of being in command, especially as the station is for’ard, right up at the coaming, and not aft, as with a sportsfisherman. Spray is limited to the proverbial Evian mist in light chop or whilst crossing wake. At lower speeds it was virtually undetectable.”

After years of sailing, Michael and Penny wanted a taste of the sweet life … in the form of a power boat.
They were on the hunt for something they could easily moor up the coast … a little slice of heaven to escape the rat race.
And Michael had an extensive wish list …
“The boat needed to be a good solid boat. Something we could overnight on with a nice bedroom, great toilet and shower facilities. Easy to manage so we can take it out on a whim with a prop shaft rather than stern-legs. And most importantly a flybridge … nothing beats driving a boat from upstairs. It’s like driving a convertible. You feel like Popeye.”
After a test drive of the Swift Trawler 30 Michael had found the perfect powerboat but getting it home was another story!
