This is a superb example of the Jeanneau Prestige 42 Fly. Its no wonder why the Prestige brand has become one of the worlds most popular power boat brands with pedigree like this. We're pleased to bring this beauty to the market from our Soldiers Point, Port Stephens office.
The exterior layout is classic yet excellent with few complicated moving parts. There is a huge boarding platform with teak decking, a stainless steel safety rail, swim ladder, pull out shower and storage. Forward of this is via a large opening door to starboard is a vast cockpit, also covered in teak with an aft lounge, and a generous storage locker below with generator. Move forward up easy sloping stairs you'll find wide symmetrical side walks each side which both access the long bow with a sunbathing mattress.
Access to the flybridge is once again from gradual, sloping built in stairs, covered in teak and through a sturdy GRP roof door. Once you arrive on top you'll find a large aft sun bed, and a u shaped dinette that connects to the sporty 2 seat drivers station with all controls needed to berth, drive and navigate to your favourite anchorage. There is a retractable bimini to keep you covered from the sun.
The exterior and teak is kept brilliant condition thanks to caring ownership and an array of protection covers including a 3 piece window shade, bow cushion covers, full flybridge cover, transom cover and wrap around aft cockpit sides that can convert to clears or can be rolled up.
Moving inside from the cockpit into the saloon you'll notice the large windows that bathes you in light all around. There is high gloss mahogany timber, and off white leatherette upholstery which was replaced in 2022, carpet and finishings throughout offering a classic yet modern touch. There is a 2 seater couch to port which can be brought across to engage with the luxury 4 seat lounge or 6 seat dinette around an extending saloon table. Forward to starboard is the 2 seater drivers station with all fuses, nav gear and driving controls. To port is a flat screen TV and access to the lower galley which is connected to the saloon and helm station, as well as the day head and cabins.
On the lower level the galley sports lovely corian style bench tops and plenty of storage. Forward to starboard is a twin bed guest, or kids cabin that connects to the day head. The owners cabin with large island bed is forward with an ensuite to port. There is plenty of storage and good light and ventilation through various opening ports. Both heads have circular, separated showers.
This Jeanneau Prestige 42 is powered by reliable twin Cummins 425 HP diesel engines with under 350 hours each that deliver great performance and a top speed of around 30 knots. Berthing is a breeze thanks to the bow and stern thrusters operated from the flybridge, wheelhouse or Yacht Controller.
Ce's La Vie is loaded with extras to make life on board a pleasure such as a generator, air conditioning, water maker, underwater lights, a comprehensive Raymarine instrumentation package (fitted 2022) with large plotters at both helms stations, sonar, radar and autopilot. She's fitted with 3 flat screen TV's, Fusion sound system, electric toilets, induction cocktop, microwave oven, fridge, freezer and so much more.
Inspection will not disappoint for vessel of this age and all service and maintenance records under the current ownership are available to genuine interest.
